Besides from being a very popular esthetic procedure, tooth whitening is also a powerful ally in restorative dentistry.
The abundance of numerous whitening systems available in the market today proves that there is a big demand generated by consumers on how to get their teeth whitened.
Unfortunately, results can range from impressive to disappointing, or even non-existent. So how can we make sure that the bleaching treatment we provide works for every patient? Being a relatively young technique in Dentistry, it is not unusual to get confused amongst so many whitening materials and techniques.
The idea of this online course is to shine a new and different light on this subject, giving both young and seasoned dentists alike a new approach to the topic. The main causes of tooth discoloration will be addressed, and more than that, the various whitening techniques and also how to prevent the occurrence of sensitivity and color relapse in certain situations. Non-vital bleaching and microabrasion will also be addressed in this lecture.
