With the increasing trend of quick treatment times and “varnish you can’t even feel on your teeth,” we will share findings from our extensive research into the benefits of fluoride uptake into enamel from fluoride varnishes, the difference between varnishes that claim significant uptake into healthy enamel versus enamel lesions, and why long treatment times and tangibility of varnish is actually a good thing.
